Significant Babies In Vietnam, significant progress has been made over the past 25 years in improving the survival rate for children under five. From 1990 to 2018, deaths per 1,000 live births decreased from 52 to 21.
An estimated 47 babies die every day in Vietnam. Most are from preventable causes.
